If you are home in one of the EU member states you can use SEPA, an European banktransfer system connecting all EU members financially. In order to use SEPA, which is offered by all european banks, you will need the IBAN and BIC numbers of the receiver. The advantage of this SEPA / EU transfers for inter-EU payments is that the payer has no extra banking costs as for a domestic payment. So you are not paying more than for a transfer within your own country.
